Mason Bassett

Mason grew up in Aiken, South Carolina and moved to the Franklin, North Carolina area in 2014. After high school, he served a proselyting mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Philippines for two years. Upon his return, he attended and graduated from the American College of the Building Arts in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Timber Framing. Before starting Visionary Timber Frames, he worked for various companies as a Joiner, Shop Foreman, Head Draftsman, and Project Manager. With his background in drafting and timber framing, he can bring most any project to life.

Mason, his wife Alyssa and their growing family have loved living in a small town and adore the mountains. mason enjoys building small projects with his kids, board game nights with the family and generally being outdoors.

J. Eric burch

J. Eric Burch, born and raised in Franklin, NC, and part owner of Visionary Timber Frames. Currently living in Franklin with his wife Gaby, and three boys; Gael, Liam and Bruno. Eric worked as a jeweler almost 14 years, where 6 of those were as the production manager/supervisor. Eric left to serve a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Veracruz, Mexico. Returning from Mexico, he started his studies in Emergency Medical Science at Southwestern Community College. Eric worked as a Paramedic for 9 years. The last year as a Paramedic, Eric returned to study Nursing, also at Southwestern Community College, where he earned his Associates Degree in Nursing. He currently works at Highlands Cashiers Hospital Emergency Department.


Mason and he have served together in various church capacities and have been friends for many years, after Mason moved to the area with his family.

Eric loves the Lord, loves his family and loves the mountains. Enjoys working out and spending time with family.
